Room 589: 1. No free wifi eventho they mentioned free wifi as part of their facilities. 2. The veranda fence (wood) are rotten, unsafe to lean.

Probably won't stay again

The bathroom is big, and can easily fit 3 people at once. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The staff gave us mineral water every time we requested.

This is the only hotel I've stayed in that DOES NOT HAVE ROOM WIFI. I found this unacceptable. The weather is so hot in Langkawi, and the staff did not even switch on the fans in the lobby (no air conditioning either)! There was only a standing fan at the receptionist table. The fridge was in very bad condition, all moldy inside. The air con and fridge took ages to turn cold. We tried to request changing room but the receptionist sent the maintenance staff to check our room and he told us since everything is working fine, we can't change our room.

The staff are helpful and very nice.

The staff are helpful and very nice. The location is near to the airport. The view is so great. The pool is nice. The bar has karaoke and board games and the bartender is very nice.

It is not clean enough. The beds sheets are so old with different kinds of stains and every time when we asked them to replace them they bring others with stains. The furnitures were old and we could not sit on them because of stains. The windows and the patio’s door are not locked very well. You can find lizards and geckos in your room disturb your sleeping and relaxing. The swimming pool has no lifeguard or someone to watch it. People can swim without talking shower or swimming with proper clothing. One guy just jumped with his trouser and later he gave it to his wife and stayed in his underwear. The water of the pool are not clean and I believe that there is no filter. After going out of the pool most of my group itching their bodies.

Villa ROOM : 580 1 - Door is not secure - see picture 2 - The room has rats on its ceiling - if i could take a picture i would have taken it to prove my case 3 - House keeping team is a nightmare - see bed sheet picture 4 - Toilet tiles are about to give way - see picture 5 - Toilet ceiling has leaks - see picture 6 - Lights are not working in the room 7 - Hotel Reception ask me to call them when I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PHONE IN THE ROOM 8 - Hotel refuse to change my room even after the first day i arrive and told them the problem 9 - Only the last day when i went to the front to tell them off than my bed sheet has stains that was not there the night before and it was obvious that someone step on it and it is because the housekeeping team has gone home that they change my to another room which smelled really bad, i wished i can send the smell to you to prove this case. 10 - Toiletries were not given until we demanded for it 11 - If we had known that this hotel operates in this manner given the price we paid for which was not cheap, we would have gone to another hotel and not stayed at this villa 12 - The after taste left in the mouth is seriously bad Thank you Langkawi Lagoon Resort for EVERYTHING. YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO BE TRAIN AND RETRAINED AND RETRAINED

Location.

The rooms had a typical moist smell alk day all night. Lizards everywhere in the balcony so couldnt access the balcony even after being at such a wonderful location. Staff needs to be trained with complete information. We changed 3 rooms after checkin. In first room, ac wasnt working so we shifted to another room. In the second room, water started seeping after heavy rains fromthe ceiling and light outlets on the wall. The 3 rd room was decent but no value for money.

i have 2 safe boxes in my room , and non of them is working ...

i have 2 safe boxes in my room , and non of them is working , i sent by whats up for reseption to fix one of them , and after 2 hours maintinance guy came , and he dosnt know how to fix it , and evry day i remind them 3 times about it , but they are nodding without any action or apologies at least. 2 we ask for laundry many times , and they told us they will send someone to take it , and till now no one came . 3 if we want to ask towels , water , .... , we should go down and ask 4 tv channels , just for malay and chinees channels , and no international channels

Surprisingly good

We were hesitated at first after reading comments from others. But our stay at the hotel was good (surprisingly!). The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We rented a car so it was easy for us to buy foods. There are a lot of local eateries nearby (especially breakfast at the nearby Kuala Teriang, plus Padang Matsirat town is only 5 minutes away by car). Lot of private parking spaces. The private beach area is ideal for those who come with family and want to do activities. Also, the room has a microwave and fridge which was useful for us to store and prepare baby foods.

Agree with others - the exterior of the hotel needs maintenance. It looks like the hotel used to be a luxurious resort but not well maintained. The pool has no life guard and would be risky for those with small kids.
